As a voluntary organisation supporting Youth Darts in Portsmouth and Gosport, we rely on people coming forward from the local community with a passion for helping children in sport to join our team and become volunteer coaches.

Although it would be helpful, a high understanding of darts is not actually a requirement – but rather we look for behaviours that will enable our members to flourish and enjoy themselves during our sessions. Being kind, respectful, helpful, having clear communication, being able to create games and engage with children aged 6-17 are exactly what we look for. We provide training on darts, the JDC routine, and games.

Please note: all positions within Portsmouth Darts Academy are subject to completion of a self-disclosure form, a DBS check, and minimum 3-month probation. Please read our safer recruitment policy for more information.
